Assemble, fabricate, and test mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a specific area of a production line in a manufacturing organization. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Duties and Responsibilities:
¿ Read, interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment(s) and products.
¿ Utilize manual tools and pneumatic tools.
¿ Maintain inventory of product in work stations.
¿ Perform quality work checks to insure the product meets quality standards.
¿ Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
¿ Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
¿ Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
¿ Maintain cleanliness (5S) of work area daily
¿ Participate in continuous improvement goals of the work site

Skills / Equipment:
¿ Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
¿ Ability to use various power (Pneumatic) hand tools (i.e.; power screwdriver, socket etc.)
¿ Ability to understand blueprints.
¿ Computer literate

Position Requirements:
¿ High School Diploma or equivalent.
¿ 2 years¿ experience in assembly or other fast paced operations preferred.

¿ Regularly lift between 30 ¿ 50 pounds
