Help Desk Support jobs require candidates to Brief description of several key responsibilities withi
deliver remote support via phone, email, chat and video to Perfect Wave Technologies’ customers on audio visual and video conferencing devices including Cisco and StarLeaf. This will include assisting customers remotely by creating service tickets, guiding customers through remote troubleshooting and issue isolation, escalating tier 2 or 3 level tickets as needed, initiating RMA’s with manufacturers, documenting

resolution in ticketing service for internal/external knowledge base and performing remote preventative maintenance on equipment including software upgrades. Apply Now!

Responsibilities for Help Desk Support jobs include but are not limited to:

  • Provide Tier 1 Help Desk support for problems by providing technical
  • and troubleshooting via telephone, email, chat and video support on
  • audio visual and video conferencing devices including Cisco and
  • StarLeaf. (Manufacturer Training Provided).
  • Tasks may include diagnosis, identification, and isolation of problems
  • based upon comments and complaints from the customer;
  • researches and analyze such problems, historical database records;
  • responding promptly with solutions.
  • Participate in remote software upgrades.
  • Must have a strong dedication to customer service using verbal and
  • written communication skills.
  • Manage tickets in ticketing system, properly documenting the issue
  • while following escalation paths within a timely fashion.
  • Maintains and updates records and tracking databases.
  • Will perform after hour support as assigned on a rotational basis to
  • be on-call for after hour duty.
  • Participate in idea sharing and problem resolution.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.


Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for Help Desk Support jobs:

  • Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Networking or
  • related technology field. Candidates may substitute 2 years of similar
  • job experience for degree.
  • Understanding of basic network functions including: IP addresses, IP
  • ping, scanning firewall ports and routing.
  • Proficiency in application software, such as: MS Office or Office 365.
  • Desire to grow and advance by learning new audio visual and video
  • conferencing technologies and achieving Manufacturer certifications.
  • Desire to learn Microsoft AD, Server Certificates, Cisco Call Manager
  • SIP Trunking, Cisco VCS/Expressway SIP Trunking and Microsoft Skype
  • for Business/Teams.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and multitask with minimal
  • supervision.
  • Ability to work off-hours for system updates/upgrades as needed and
  • rotational basis for on-call after hour support duty.
