Honda Aero - Adecco - Parts Quality & Rework
Adecco is assisting Honda Aero in Burlington, NC to fill a parts-quality-deburr-rework associate. This unique associate will be responsible for processing molded and bonded parts to detailed specifications using hand and mechanical tools. Perform rework activities as required and assist the lead technician in operations. Job Duties and Requirements:
- Use of hand and mechanical tools for deburring, surface finishing and chamfering of parts
- Use of inspection tools to inspect and gage work performed to ensure it meets specifications
- Mix and apply 2-part epoxy resin systems to parts as required for rework operations
- Operate equipment and utilize tools, jigs, and fixtures needed in the processing of components.

Education/Experience:
- Experience using hand and mechanical tools for processing, deburring, surface finishing and chamfering of composite, plastic, metal, or wood products (1+ years desired but will consider less with consideration for work history)
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, dial indicator gauges and Go/No-Go gauges for inspection of work performed (1+ years desired but will consider less with consideration for work history)
- Experience using drawings, prints and work instructions to complete assignments
- Experience mixing and applying 2-part epoxy resin systems to parts

Knowledge:
- Knowledge of safe use and maintenance of process equipment, hand and mechanical tools for deburring, surface finishing and chamfering of composite, plastic, metal or wood products
- General knowledge of geometric dimensioning & tolerancing of machine element parts and inspection principles
- General knowledge of safe use of 2-part epoxy resin systems a plus

Job-Related Specific Skills:
- Ability to understand and comply with process manuals and work instructions
- Dexterity required to perform detailed hand operations to parts
- Ability to work standing or sitting for long periods of time
- Ability to use hand and mechanical tools for long periods of time
- Ability to use appropriate PPE such as dust masks, safety glasses, gloves, Tyvek suits and hearing protection for long periods of time
