Responsibilities for the Human Resources Administrator role include:

  • Deliver trainings and consultations to support manager development in station
  • Ability to work with station leaders to develop proactive solutions to recurring team challenges
  • Conduct regular audits and execute large scaled administrative tasks
  • Apply fundamentals of employment law
  • Monitor daily metrics and implement plan to address outliers
  • Conduct end to end investigations in consultation with manager

Must Have’s:

  • Must have a “roll up your sleeves” and “dig right in” personality
  • Have led and executed large scale administrative programs or tasks
  • Able to build relationships with employees, managers, and leadership teams
  • Must be able to identify areas of improvement
  • Must be able to deliver HR goals even if uncomfortable
  • Able to directly impact building out a logistics center
  • Must be able to hold managers accountable
  • Comfortable in an ambiguous environment
  • Able to present well in a phone interview and in-person utilizing the S.T.A.R interview method: Situation, Task, Action, Result

Qualifications:

  • 2 years exposure to Human Resources functions or related field
  • Intermediate to advanced ability to utilize excel
  • Experience with collecting, understanding and analyzing data to draw conclusions
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll, benefits, and employee issues
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills: accuracy is essential.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills: must display patience, humor and helpfulness at all times as you will be the front-line contact for employee issues
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
  • Previous work experience supporting an hourly and management workforce
  • Executed large scale administrative programs or tasks
  • Proven ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Previous experience with Payroll Systems, HRIS

Starting Wage: $21.25 / hour. This is a permanent – direct hire opportunity!

Shifts: Our client runs a 24/7 operation that requires flexible scheduling of HR support. The HRAs typically work “8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday” however, flexibility is required to work OT, weekends, and nights. Some positions may be permanent nights as we build out the structure.

Environment: Warehouse environment with dress code requirements (closed toe / heel shoes, no dangling earrings / necklaces, no exposed navel, etc.). Hot / cold temps based on weather. 1700+ employees in station
