Adecco is assisting an international manufacturing firm in recruiting for a current HR Administrator job opening in Sterling, VA. This is for a Contract to Hire opportunity. As a HR Administrator you will be responsible for weekly payroll processing activities and employee relations for a large international firm. Apply now if you meet the qualifications listed below!

Responsibilities for this HR Administrator job include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the preparation and processing of bi-weekly payroll for large employee workforce; review and ensure accuracy of approved changes, update special payroll deductions
  • Enter and audit of employee data; payroll maintenance; and monitor employee data
  • Ensure that employee changes are entered correctly and made on a timely basis; review changes for proper authorization and ensuring corporate policies are in accordance to federal, state, and local tax codes
  • Assist the HR department with onboarding and offboarding employees
  • Ensure all employees hours are entered into payroll to be processed
  • Assist with employment authorization documents and I9 verification
  • Prepare client sign off documents for approval
  • Assist in resolving payroll issues
  • Provide customer service to internal and external customer related to HR
  • Assists department in carrying out various benefit/HR functions to include new hire orientations, exit interviews, survey completion, etc.
  • Qualifications:

  • 1 to 3 years work experience in Payroll or HR
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Advanced client service skills both written an oral
  • Experience with ADP Payroll system is a plus
  • Ability to work flexible hours may be required
  • Bilingual language skills a Plus
  • Schedule: Tuesday- Saturday 1st or 2nd shift (Saturday Required)
  • Pay for this position is $16.00-$18.00 /hr. plus overtime as needed. This is a Contract to Hire opportunity.
