HR Assistant

Adecco is assisting a company in their search for an HR Assistant in Carlisle,PA. This is a long term temporary opportunity with potential for permanent hire in the future. Ideal candidates have a positive attitude, experience in an office setting, and excellent ability to multi task. 

Position Summary: The successful HR Representative will provide administrative support for general clerical responsibilities for DC Human Resources such as; answering phone calls, managing calendars, managing personnel files and event planning.

Shift: 1st / M-F / 8:00AM - 5:00PM
Payrate: $14 - $16 (Depending upon Experience) 

Responsibilities:

• Generate reports and metric data needed by HRD (Human Resources Director)

• HRD travel and calendar management

• Assist with Event Planning

• Support the HRD with vendor relationship management

• Maintain HR related bulletin boards and electronic sign messaging

• ESAT planning and coordination

• Various Transactional Talent HR related work to include Staffing support

• Orientations, on-boarding & off-boarding support

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • High School Graduate (or equivalent), college preferred
  • Bilingual Preferred
  • 5+ years Administrative Assistant experience, preferably in Human Resources
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Intermediate Level or higher with Word & Excel 
  • Proficiency with web-based applications such as; PeopleSoft, KRONOS, etc.
