Position: Talent Acquisition Candidate Experience Specialist
Location: Davidson NC
Contract:  6 months W2  (opportunity to extend another 6 months)
Pay Rate: $ 20.90 + per hour 
Schedule:  8 am to 5 pm Mon to Friday 
 
This is an interactional support role responsible for delivering a world-class candidate experience from interview through to the first day of employment. This role will partner with Talent Acquisition Partners, HR Business Partners (HRBP’s), HR Centers of Excellence (COE’s), Managers and Vendors to ensure appropriate candidate care and communications, compliance to standard work, applicable employment law and client’s policies.
 
Job Responsibilities:
•Own the candidate experience and candidate management from initial interview through to employment start date.
•Deliver high-quality interview experience for candidates to include; travel scheduling, expense reimbursement guidance, interview scheduling and logistics, as well as coaching and guiding throughout the process
•Collaborate with talent acquisition partner and interviewing team to ensure use of appropriate behavioral and technical interview guides.
•Coordinate interview debrief session and ensure compliance with interview feedback and documentation guidelines.
•Coordinate with talent acquisition partner to ensure that all candidates receive interview feedback and next steps in a timely manner.
•Process owner and steward from offer accept through to background investigation completion and pre –day 1 activities.
•Ensure process steps are completed on time to service level agreements, communicate on regular basis to all stakeholders, problem solve when delays are experienced to ensure on time start for new employees.
•Manage background investigation vendors to ensure on time performance, compliance to Ingersoll Rand Policies and applicable employment law. Responsible for decisions related to Hire or No-Hire in accordance with company policy and documented decision rights.
•Inform and coach hiring manager and HRBP on process steps, onboarding requirements, communication expectations and progress.
•Maintain regular communications with candidates to ensure awareness of process and progress towards their start date.
•Using a relatively thorough knowledge of the company structure, HR policy and procedures as well as HR internal processes, troubleshoot and resolve issues ranging from simple questions to moderately detailed and complex issues directly with managers, vendors and HR in accordance with Service Partner Agreements (SPA’s).
•Ensure actions follow Company policies and procedures and to local, state, and federal employment law.
•Collaborate with the e-HR, HR and Ingersoll Rand technical teams on system performance, resolution and data integrity opportunities.
•Participate and/or lead projects as needed.
•Actively support as needed talent acquisition tools and process improvement implementations.
•Collaborate with HRBP’s, COE’s, and other HR groups as needed.
•Provide support to Coordinators and new team members as needed.
•Additional responsibilities as the HR Support Services organization services expand.
 
 
Minimum Qualifications:
 
•bachelor’s degree (HR, business administration, contact center or related field) is required with a minimum of 4 years of similar experience working with a high volume of transactions.
•Experience with HR systems, PeopleSoft preferred (Taleo, Sharepoint sites, background verification, self-service, etc.)
•HR policy and program administration experience required.
•Intermediate level MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) skills are required.
•Project management skills a plus.
•SHRM Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification a plus.
•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing. Able to communicate in a professional, positive, courteous manner always with all levels of customers.
•Maintain high level of confidentiality.
