Responsibilities for this HR Assistant include:


  • -Assist with recruiting duties (calling applicants, asking applicant’s basic questions on job history and current job expectations, updating job postings, scheduling interviews, recording notes and updating office calendar)

  • -Assist in coaching, training, hiring, and terminating employees as needed

  • -Research new job openings and assist in determining compensation, qualifications, and duties for available jobs

  • -Run reports for payroll, job postings, calendar audits, and various other topics as needed

  • -Process onboarding and new hire paperwork (W4, Form I9, Direct Deposits, Etc.)

  • -Work with the Recruitment team and Managers in problem solving and strategic thinking

  • -Participate in daily morning meetings and take meeting minutes

  • -Frequently receive and send email correspondences using Microsoft Outlook

  • -Answer office phones and assist callers as best as possible; direct calls as needed

  • -Welcome walk in applicants and office guests

  • -Ensure compliance is being met on all documents and procedures

  • -Have an understanding of the employee handbook

  • -Prepare documents to be faxed, scanned, and printed

  • -General typing, filing, taking inventory of office supplies, and sorting mail

  • -Participate in trainings and phone conferences as assigned

  • -Assist with administrative work as needed



  • Required Qualifications:


  • -Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • -At least 2 years customer service experience

  • -Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • -Ability to work in a team environment

  • -Ability to pay strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

  • -Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks



  • Preferred Qualifications:


  • -Previous work history or coursework in Human Resources

  • -Passion for customer service is a plus!



  • Hours of Operation and Compensation:


    Hours are Full-Time Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with a 1 hour lunch


    Compensation is $15-$16 per hour depending on level of experience
