Title: HR Coordinator

Location: Dallas TX

Duration: 6 Months

Hours: M-F 8am-5pm

 

Job Description:

 

***Main responsibility will be manual data entry of new hire roles in ADP***

Nice to have: experience in HRIS, Onboarding, and Recruiting

 

  • Provides operational and administrative support to the Talent Acquisition (TA) organization, the Human Resources team, and other business partners.
  • Assists Hiring Managers and Recruiters with opening new requisitions and managing applicant flow through Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Facilitates the preparation of job postings, employment applications, and offer/rejection letters.
  • Interacts with candidates for pre-boarding processes including but not limited to answering general questions regarding benefits, relocation, and other onboarding questions.
  • Processes and coordinates completion of background checks, drug screens, and I-9 forms through E-Verify
  • Facilitates pre-adverse action process, documents results, and communicate to stakeholders.
  • Creates employee records in HRIS system for new hires, including entry of personal, organizational, job and compensation information, while ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Initiates the relocation process for new hires, as appropriate, with our 3rd party relocation provider
  • Manages consolidated billing process for background check provider and other vendors.
  • Partners with our Onboarding Expeditor to jump start the new hire onboarding process.
  • Documents TA processes and procedures, and conducts and supports on-going internal and external audits.
  • Cultivates your own skills, capabilities, and performance results by consistently learning about the business, the industry, best practices in Human Resources/Talent Acquisition, and ever-changing employment laws.
  • Collaborates with team members, strategic partners/vendors, and internal customers to enhance department’s processes, procedures, and systems, resulting in simplification of doing business with the Talent Acquisition team, exceptional customer service, high levels of individual productivity, and impactful team results.

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma; Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
  • 5 years of experience working in a fast-paced Talent Acquisition or HR department
  • Intermediate PC skills required, including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook

  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, maintain appropriate business acumen, and communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Must work well independently with a high level of responsibility and ability to navigate in matrix environments.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated evidence of detail-orientation, flexibility, follow-up skills, multi-tasking/time management skills, and effective project management skills, without compromising quality or service.
  • Strong execution skills with the ability to meet challenging/changing deadlines/milestones.
  • Proven ability to build strong, collaborative work relationships with candidates, colleagues, internal customers, and third party vendors.
  • Able to grasp information quickly and probe effectively where additional information is required.
  • Must be capable of developing solutions to problems that require a degree of ingenuity, creativity and innovation while providing recruiting support to talent acquisition team and business leaders.
  • Proven experience analyzing and consolidating collected data.
  • High degree of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and the employees, while maintaining constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of employment law and its impact on Talent Acquisition processes, policies, and practices, including but, not limited to, EEO, OFCCP, Hiring from Competitors, Conflicts of Interest and other legal requirements.
  • Effective decision-making within the realm of authority.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and self-study to stay abreast of changes and best practices in our industry, business, and Human Resources/Talent Acquisition disciplines.

 

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in a corporate team environment
  • 2+ years of experience in a staffing agency environment
  • Experience with ADP VirtualEdge and TalentWise/SterlingOne, CareerBuilder Screening Services
  • Experience with SuccessFactors Recruiting/Onboarding Module
