POSITION: HR Coordinator
HOURS: Full-time
DURATION: 2 months with possible extention
PAY: $20 to 21/hr or depending on experience

Responsibilities, Qualifications, & Details

Job Description (please include detailed information below): The primary role of the Graduate Training Program contractor is to assist the Program Manager with all facets of the Training process for the Investment Bank Capital Markets and Global Markets Graduate Programs. The fast-paced nature of the business requires candidates who possess multi-tasking abilities, have strong attention to detail, exceptional excel skills, and the ability to operate under pressure. Candidates must be flexible with time as some days will require long hours with early start times and late endings. Flexibility, strong communication and interpersonal skills, team playing ability and attention to detail is crucial in all that we do. The position is located in New York City and will last about 10-12 weeks in the summer of 2019.

Overview of business area or project: Talent Development, Graduate Training Program Contractor

Key Responsibilities:
• Organizing training space and planning in-house events by booking rooms, dining services, and building services • Assisting trainers in facilitating their daily responsibilities • Managing the dissemination of training material both as pre-work and throughout training • Creating weekly surveys as well as the weekly analysis • Planning and executing networking events at local venues • Creating the training manual and Facebook groups • Creating seating charts for the training rooms • Following up on trainee issues such as IT, payroll, benefits and other personnel issues • Daily attendance in training rooms, while also answering any trainee questions • Attend weekly IBCM and GM team meetings

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Strong excel and data analysis skills • Comfortable speaking in front of large audiences • Strong attention to detail • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines • Strong problem-solving skills; thinking quickly “on your feet”
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and proactively take ownership of projects

Years of Experience suggested: The ideal candidate would be a rising senior at a four year college or university with an interest in developing a career in Human Resources or Training & Development or have 1-2 years business management experience.
