HR Generalist

Responsibilities, Qualifications, & Details:                 

This role is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with HR management in supporting designated geographic regions. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, record keeping, file maintenance, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment and employment law compliance.


Job Duties:

  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
  • Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation
  • Works closely with HR manager on employee relations investigation
  • Coordinating new hire paperwork for TTH conversions, and new hire orientation meetings
  • Assists with processing of terminations
  • Assists with recruitment and interview process
  • Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the HR manager
  • Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions
  • Assists or prepares correspondence as requested
  • Assisting with providing research for policies, training, strategic planning, and other human resource issues
  • Assisting in preparation of special events such as Summer BBQ, Holiday Celebration and other office or company gatherings
  • Addresses and responds to employee Payroll, HRIS, Compensation and Benefits issues in conjunction with the HR Administration team
  • Assisting with providing compliance in all areas of human resources
  • Assisting with additional projects, as assigned


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associates degree required
  • One (1) to three (3) years of human resource experience
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills required
  • Ability to work under pressure both independently and within a team-oriented environment
  • Good understanding of PA state and federal HR laws
  • Maintains positive attitude and demonstrates the utmost in professionalism
  • The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Completes work accurately and in a timely manner
  • Works independently and possesses good judgment skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, adapt to changing environment
  • The ability to travel to assigned branches within region
  • May be required to work long and unpredictable hours



Pay Rate:  $20.00hr - $24.00hr DOE

Shift Start/End Time:  first shift hours

Length of Assignment:  Long term/Indefinite
