  • Administers policies relating to all phases of human resources activity for assigned departments by performing the following duties.
  • Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are compliance.
  • Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
  • Keeps records of benefits plans participating such as insurance, 401k, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.
  • Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues and provides support with corrective actions.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Administers annual performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.
  • Administers monthly performance review distribution and reminders.
  • Administers workshare program.
  • Administers salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within organization.
  • Administers benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence and employee assistance.
  • Audits and approves medical, dental, and Unum billing statements.
  • Manages leaves of absence.
  • Prepares the labels, envelopes, cover letters and assembles the annual benefit statements to all employee. Assists with open enrollment as needed.
  • Locates forms needed for the 401k and payroll audits.
  • Processes 401k weekly Fidelity reports.
  • May conduct wage surveys within labor market to determine competitive wage rate.
  • Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
  • Back-up for MOS processes.
  • Front office contact for employees.
  • Responsible for flyer communications.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Must have reliable and consistent attendance as well as be punctual and dependable in order to meet the needs of the department and the organization.
