Position Summary:

This position will have generalist responsibilities providing professional level support to carry out HR activities and processes for the USCA non-executive workforce in the Corporate Staff Functions.

This position requires generalist HR experience as it supports the global HR Business Partners for Corporate Staff Functions. Tasks involve a variety of project work as well as day-to-day duties in the below areas. Work is proactive, customer-oriented and autonomous.

Responsibilities / Duties:

Staffing -
Manage open positions for Corp Staff Functions to PPG Recruiting process. This includes posting approvals, candidate interviews and offer management as needed. Work with internal HR colleagues to determine position build, relocation package and handle questions as needed; drive standardization with hiring managers.

Support College recruiting where needed and drive for standardization in USCA College recruiting program. Handle offers, and candidate activities where needed.

Benefits Administration –
FMLA consultation, application, approval and tracking for employees band F and below.

Employee Relations –
Respond to employee relations issues such as informal/formal complaints, etc., as assigned. Serve as the entry point for PIP discussions and Investigations that are handled by an internal colleague.

Employee engagement –
Manage the engagement survey team activities for USCA Corp Staff functions, handle action and completion tracking, and handle customer requests as needed.

Learning and Development –
Supports the annual Performance management and Talent management cycles. Identify training needs and work with internal colleagues to advice on development inquiries as needed.

Compensation cycle
Manages ongoing compensation changes. Support for performance calibration and performance increases in the annual non-executive compensation cycle, as well as reporting to compensation COE. Assist functional managers in completion of deliverables.

HRIS
Support preparation for new HRIS system and process implementation across Corp Staff functions.

Ad-hoc project support
Implement HR projects as needed concerning the respective customer base.

Requires:
BS/BA in Human Resources, or related discipline with 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources. HR Certification is a plus. MS Office suite knowledge at a proficient level is a prerequisite.
