Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill an exciting HR Labor Relations Advisor role in Spring, TX!!

**Must be eligible to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship / no corp to corp or 3rd party contracting arrangement / Adecco W2 only.

Job Title: HR Labor Relations Advisor
Location: Spring, TX - No relocation assistance, travel expenses, or any other expenses can be offered
Estimated Start Date: 11/16/2017 or ASAP
Duration: 05/18/2018
Hours: 40 hours week - Position will rotate through three shifts over the course of a year.
Pay Rate: $35.00 per hour / Adecco W2

Job Description


MAIN FUNCTIONS

Supports business strategy design and execution by providing site/country level labor relations subject matter expertise to HR and Business Line (BL) Management.
Engages industry as necessary to support labor relations and business objectives.

Maintains situational awareness in non-represented operations and prepares (where possible) for representation activities.
Provides site/country level input to Labor Strategies and facilitates strategy execution.
Leads or supports negotiations and strike preparation activities (where possible).
Develops best practices, mentors and teaches HR and BL resources.
Consults on the daily administration of labor agreements.
Consults on the disposition of dispute resolution cases.
Consults on acquisition and divestment labor relations implications.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Behavioral skills: creates business value, innovates, courage of conviction, manages risk, mentors, strategic.

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:


Benefits/alternate forms of pay (AFPs), compensation design, consulting, HRM change management, Labor and industrial relations, legal compliance.
