Adecco Direct Hire is currently recruiting on behalf of its client in the Buffalo, NY area, for the position of HR Manager. You will provide HR leadership and manage human resources activities for the manufacturing facility. You will drive organizational capability within the assigned plant site to help the company meet growth and productivity goals. This position will also lead and execute critical HR processes for talent management, development, and succession planning. Responsibilities include:

Partner with managers to develop organizational strategies and ensure organizational capability.
Provide leadership, guidance and counsel to leaders on matters related to talent, organizational change, and human capital.
Provide thought leadership to site leadership teams to ensure understanding and execution of strategic plans and HR strategies.
Actively participates in the development of long- and short-term operating plans and ensures alignment of HR strategies in support of company goals. Supports programs, policies, and procedures with operations leadership.
Develop site specific HR plans aligned with company's strategies and with business objectives to include organizational design, succession planning, talent management, goal alignment, and communications
Support critical HR processes, which include Staffing, Employee and Labor Relations, Talent Review process, Performance Review process, payroll and compensation processes, and other relevant HR initiatives.

Required Experience



BS degree in HR, Business or related field.
PHR/SPHR preferred
10 years experience demonstrating increasing responsibility as a human resources business partner to include working in a manufacturing environment and union/labor experience.
Manufacturing experience and awareness of union and non-union manufacturing environments.
Experience with driving employee engagement and positive employee relations with all levels of employees.
