HR Recruiting Coordinator

Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Recruiting Coordinator position in Odessa, TX 79761. APPLY NOW if you are qualified with the requirements below:

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 4 months with possible extensions of assignment
Location: Odessa, TX 79761 (No relocation assistance, per diem or travel expenses can be offered)
Maximum Pay Rate: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour / Adecco W2 (depending on experience)

The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for sourcing and screening of' personnel by using creative sourcing Methods (internal and external). Works with hiring managers in the recruitment strategies to ensure qualified candidate pools that are aligned with our client’s organization's needs, environment, and EEO diversity initiatives. Ensures that job requirements/qualifications are aligned with job scope. Determines best avenues and feasibility for maximum recruitment potential.

Core Responsibilities:
• Knowledge and understanding of Transportation operations and related activities.


Develop effective outreach and networking relationships with local workforce development centers and organizations to assure our client becomes the local employer of choice
Coordinate and arrange recruiting events
May need 10 assist with short notice recruiting as well as targeted recruiting for specific positions.
Conducts candidate sourcing which includes posting of job advertisements. Conducting web-based recruiting activities, contracting with outside recruiters when necessary. and other networking activities
Screen resumes, interview candidates (by phone and/or in person)
Serve as an expert for sourcing candidates in Transportation.
Communicate in a professional manner with all levels in the organization.
Build applicant source« by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters and internet sites. Providing organization information, opportunities. and maintain rapport
Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers and interview applicants on consistent set of qualifications
Develop and maintain an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing needs and goals

Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills

BS - Business or Human Resources

1 + years of Recruiting experience using cost efficient and time efficient sourcing strategies.
Must be able to manage high levels of activity and multiple demands.
Must be highly organized with excellent tilne-managen1ent skills
Ability to self-motivate and work independently
Computer proficiency with MS Office and internet

Great communication skills
Must be organized, professional and motivated, capable of working alone or as a member of a team
Ability to travel (including overnight travel if needed)
Must be proactive and a self-starter
