General Position Summary:
The HR Service Center Rep – is a position within HR Service Delivery with primary responsibility for serving as the first point (Tier 1) of contact for resolving customer’s issues and problems by interpreting human resource and benefits policies and procedures. HR Customer Service Delivery reps are expected to develop and demonstrate core HR generalist capabilities, customer service skills, and the ability to communicate (verbal and written) to internal and external customers.


Essential Responsibilities:
• Handles employees, retirees, disabled, cobra participants, and vendors inquiries over the phone or through case management system
• Ability to comprehend and communicate (verbally and written) HR and Benefit plan policies and procedures. This would include the understanding of the legal regulations governing the plans and policies.
• Must have good interpersonal skills to deal effectively with people internally and externally
• Ability to understand process and identify areas for improvement
• Handle other job related duties at assigned
• Processing of requested Workday transactions (job and data changes, family status events, etc.)
• Train and walk employees through how to execute core HR processes in Workday


Position Requirements
• Performing independent judgment with generally defined procedures and proactive to determine appropriate action
• Knowledge of HR and Benefits plans and policies (min of 2 years of HR experience)
• Responsible for communicating accurate information regarding plans and procedures
• Responsible for maintaining confidentiality of all matters and information
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and function to meet deadlines
