HR Technology Analyst

Duration: 6 months
Pay Rate: Up to $46.00 per hour, depending on candidate experience


The HR Technology Analyst position will be a key role in the implementation activities for client’s new onboarding system, IBM Kenexa Onboard. This position includes gathering and documenting requirements, conducting analysis and assisting with configuring the new system. The Analyst is also responsible for creating test scripts, executing testing, and working with the development team to troubleshoot issues. This position will engage directly with IBM’s project resources and internal key stakeholders. The HRT Analyst will report to the HR Technology Recruiting Systems manager.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review and understand existing current state documentation
• Work with the stakeholders to document future state processes and requirements
• Review and consult on functional and technical requirements for accuracy and completeness
• Identify, document and escalate project issues as needed
• Create standard functional specifications and acts as a testing lead
• Assist with test script creation for execution during unit testing and system integration testing that are based on the functional specifications
• Attend all required project meetings
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with IBM Kenexa BrassRing or similar applicant tracking system, e.g. Taleo, PeopleSoft eRecruit, etc.
• Experience with IBM Kenexa Onboard or similar onboarding system, e.g. SilkRoad.
• Familiarity with prehire activities, e.g. background checks, I-9 processing, etc.
• Ability to adhere to established processing timeframes and make decisions independently.
• Experience in data reporting, validation and analysis
• Experience in continuous process improvement, including technology upgrades and implementation
• Strong analytical capacity and communication skills
• Ability to effectively interact and partner with staff in various levels of the organization
• Strong organizational skills and orientation to detail
• Strong customer service orientation
• Strategic thinking skills with demonstrated experience developing and implementing solutions to issues
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Visio, SharePoint and PowerPoint
• Understanding and demonstrated application of SDLC and project methodology
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent related work experience

RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE
5+ years of experience working in a HR technology or Recruiting analyst role
