Human Resources Administrative Assistant

Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for an Administrative Assistant-HR department performing a variety of administrative and clerical duties for the Human Resources department including benefits administration and personnel records maintenance. Responsibilities for this Administrative Assistant-HR position include, but are not limited to:

  • Answer and direct incoming calls from a multi-line telephone system.
  • Answer inquiries about company.
  • Greet visitors warmly and make sure they are comfortable.
  • Call persons waiting for visitor and book them a room to meet in.
  • Schedule meetings and conference rooms.
  • Make coffee and set out food for new hire orientation.
  • Ensure reception area is tidy.
  • Coordinate mail flow in and out of office.
  • Coordinate office activities and order lunch when needed.
  • Hand out employee applications.
  • Send email and faxes.
  • Collect and distribute parcels and other mail.
  • Perform basic data entry, filing, and clerical duties.
  • Will request and review DMV reports and report new hire information to Employee Development Department
  • Will process all Human Resources related invoices.
  • Will compile and maintain records for use in employee benefits administration.
  • Will assist the Employee Relations Representative and Benefits Specialist on a needed basis.

    To be considered for this Administrative Assistant-HR position, you should:

  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of employee information and records.
  • Must possess strong organization and multi-tasking skills.
  • Must be able to promptly respond to requests and inquiries from employees and the general public.
  • Must be PC literate, proficient in Word and Excel. Must type 45+ words per minute.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Must be able to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with those contacted in the course of work.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
