Human Resources Assistant

Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search for an experienced Human Resources Assistant role in Plano, TX. Candidates must be local to Plano or within a reasonable commuting distance. This is a contract role. We are only considering candidates that meet the qualifications listed below.

Summary:
The Human Resources Associate will handle a high volume of administrative processing (e.g. Bulk pay increases/merits, general HRIS transactional processing and reporting) with a great deal of quality and accuracy. Where necessary the HR Associate will refer the inquiry to the appropriate Centre of Expertise or Business Partner, but generally this shared service team member will endeavor to process and resolve the inquiry. The HR HR Associate will provide top tier customer service while providing effective and efficient service. They will coordinate and / or facilitate more complex HR activities and/or programs. The HR HR Associate is entrusted with accessing and maintaining relevant employee/company data in the Company’s HRIS system. They handle sensitive and confidential information on a daily basis. The role requires a focus on execution and efficiency by continually exploring opportunities to improve process, maximize efficiencies and reduce costs.


Requirements and Qualifications:


•Associate’s degree in Human Resources or other applicable field of study, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
•Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Human Resources or related area.
•Customer focused. Ability to demonstrate patience and willingness to assist; follows through on commitments and treats all with courtesy and sensitivity.
•Critical thinker with detailed HR knowledge & experience.
•Strong technical skills, including reporting, analysis and data validation
•Must have PeopleSoft Data Entry experience
•HR knowledge, understands HR policies, practices and procedures.
•Attention to detail, demonstrates sound judgment in handling complex and confidential information.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•Must have the ability to handle various employee issues in a confidential and sensitive manner.
•Excellent administrative, organizational and interpersonal skills.
•Strong analytical skills.
•Must be attentive to details.
•Process driven and solution oriented.
•Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while managing multiple tasks.
•Must be able to work flexible and additional hours as necessary.
•Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
•Ability to communicate appropriately with all levels of employees.


Pay: Market Rate/Competitive

Shift Start/End Time: 10:00am to 6:30pm.
