Responsible for working alongisde and supporting the SVP of Human Resources while performing a broad range of HR administrative functions including but not limited to:

* Providing HR support to Exempt, Non-Exempt and employees of the company.
* Process payroll for the bank which consists of about 80 employees via ADP
* Responsible for entering all professional and classified transaction forms into the HR Management System
* Provide a range of HR functions to support the SVP of HR including but not limited to Recruitment, Appointments, New Hire on-boarding, Classification & Compensation, Benefits, Exit Interviews, and Records Retention
* Process, file and maintain all I-9 documention
* Draft candidate offer letters, process and generate all candidate background information
* Generate HR specific reporting and compliance information
* Interact with departmental supervisors, senior management, Board of Directors and employees to ensure accurate processing of Human Resources transactions.
* Assist with any other special bank projects


Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business related degree is HIGHLY preferred
Banking or Financial Services industry experience is HIGHLY preferred
Bi-lingual English/Spanish is REQUIRED
Possess at least 3-5 years of hands-on experience performing similar essential duties listed above
Knowledge of various Human Resources disciplines and all related laws governing workforce
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and able to work with little supervision
Detailed oriented with excellent follow-up practices and customer and team focus
Capable to multi-tasking, highly organized, excellent time-management skills
Ability to articulate thoughts and ideas effectively both written and oral across all levels of the organization
Strict adherence to confidentiality with high ethical standards
Proficient in Microsoft office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Familiarity with HR Systems as it related to applicant tracking, payroll, on-boarding, performance management, HRIS and other related HR software
Flexibility to operate in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to work past normal business hours when necessary.
Position is based in Brickell and individual must have the ability to work past normal business hours. Standard hours are from 8:30 to 5:30.
