Adecco is hiring a Human Resources Generalist. This is a Direct Hire Job located in Rochester, New York. The Human Resources Generalist will manage the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource Office. You will manage the the administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs. You will carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: Department Development, HRIS, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development and employment. Job Responsibilities:


Coordinates benefit plan enrollments (and open enrollment), changes and processing of monthly group insurance premiums.
Coordinates COBRA administration with third party to ensure compliance and that accurate payments are received from participants
Responsible for HRIS software maintenance.
Acts as main payroll administrator to ensure that paychecks and payroll reports (overtime, turnover, etc) are accurate and timely including hours worked, time off, voluntary deductions, garnishments and well as sorting and distributing paychecks.
Maintains personnel files in compliance with Company practices and legal requirements to ensure completeness and accuracy of computer and hard copy files.
Main contact with temporary agencies for payroll and employee issues if needed.
Manages Attendance Program which includes data collection, reporting and follow up with Supervisors/Managers to administer warnings.

Job Requirements:


Bachelor's Degree
3-5 years relatred experience
Thorough knowledge of all federal and state laws governing benefits and human resources
CEEBS or PHR certification a plus
Knowledge of Micros Soft Products
HRIS Payroll expereince
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
