Our Client in Hammond is looking for assistance in their HR Department.
M-F 8am-5pm $25.00-$35.00/hourly rate, based on experience.

Job Duties Include;
• Process bi-weekly payroll.
• Maintains employee changes within HRIS (i.e. Rehires, Terminations, Transfers, Contact Info Changes, and Pay Changes unrelated to Equity Adjustments, Promotions, Demotions and/or Job Reclassifications)
• Maintains accurate employee records (including electronic databases)
• Enters and adjusts hours as needed for completion of payroll processing
• Maintains the strictest confidentiality at all times on matters pertaining to the Company and our employees
• Updates postings for open job requisitions
• Serves as a backup to calculate and process manual checks as needed
• Receives and addresses employee inquiries via phone and/or email
• Properly e-files all employee documentation, including scanning and uploading hardcopies
• Supports special HR projects as assigned
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Exhibits professional presence and delivers excellent customer service
• Able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• Completes tasks with minimal direction and supervision
• Able to effectively multi-task and adapt to changing priorities

Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 2+ years of experience and knowledge in the HRIS field, preferably supporting payroll and time & attendance.
• Working knowledge of ADP or a comparable HRIS and time & attendance system preferred.
• Above average proficiency with Excel (VLOOKUP's, pivot tables, etc.).
• Strong project, task and organization skills including being detailed oriented, organized, and has ability to multi-task and meet deadlines while managing multiple projects and tasks with a high level of accuracy.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a passion for customer service
Must be able to work overtime as required.
