Position Summary:
The Human Resources Representative will act as the liaison between the HR team and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of all queries.  This candidate will support daily HR functions and coordinate HR policies, processes, and relevant documents.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Daily operations of HR functions and duties. 
  • Talent Acquisition:  Recruitment for both direct and temporary staff.  Write job descriptions and place advertisements for best pool of candidates.
  • On-boarding process:  Provide new employees with paperwork and establish personnel file.  Conduct new hire set-up and initial orientation.  Confirm paperwork and any training requirements are completed.
  • Assist in processing/maintaining data on OSHA, FMLA, HIPAA and other required information for employee’s records.
  • Conduct benefit orientations and provide all packets of information.
  • Assist HR manager with employee relations as needed.
  • Maintain employee files and the HR filing system in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
  • Perform benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, and communication of benefits to employees.
  • Prepare and maintain reports that are necessary to carry out the functions of the HR department.  Prepare periodic reports for management.
  • Update employee contact information and complete audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Workers Compensation Claims.
  • Maintain Organizational Charts.
  • Assist in performance review process.
  • Prepare and submit ACA reporting for all Smooth-On and RAM.
  • Emergency Updates for all locations.
  • Special Projects as requested.

  • Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selections, hiring, training and discharge.
  • Ability to develop specific goal and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish your work.
  • General knowledge of various employment laws and practices.
  • Ability to work in a busy team environment. 
  • Experience in administration of benefits and other HR programs.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel in a Microsoft Windows environment.

Experience and Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2 years’ Human Resources experience.
