Responsibilities for this HR Specialist include:

  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • High Energy Work Ethic
  • First line of contact to employees, managers and HR Business Partners
  • Able to answer questions about benefits, payroll, unemployment and disability and leave of absence
  • Assist with processing all employee’s hires, terminations, transfers, compensation and personal changes.
  • Support on boarding process
  • Generate and distribute monthly reporting for business support
  • New Hire Orientation Programs
  • Supports Annual Open Enrollment presentations
  • Assist with benefits administration including invoice processing and reconciliation
  • Supports local HR Department with administrative duties


  • Basic knowledge and understanding of benefit plans and administration required
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proactive and solution-oriented individual that works well in a team environment
  • Customer-focused and detail oriented
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Minimum 1-2 years relevant experience within a HR and/or employee service center environment
  • BS Degree strongly preferred
  • Experience with HRIS Systems (SAP), ADP 5V5 products preferred
  • Strong MS Office Skills
