Essential Responsibilities & Duties Summary:
o Review Import and Export documentation errors and coordinate the correction, as appropriate.
o Interfaces with internal / external customers, foreign subsidiaries, distributors, vendors, brokers and carriers to ensure compliance with all applicable import / export regulations.
o Interact with US Customs, Trade Authorities on trade compliance matters.
o Conducts periodic export and import self-assessments (compliance audits) and implements any necessary corrective actions.
o Keep record of materials available and on order dates
o Any other duties as assigned

Education and /or Experience
Bachelor¿s degree preferred, or 1-2 years of purchasing experience. Experience in Dynamics AX is preferred. Experience with customs or international purchasing a plus.

Work experience &Skills
¿ Excellent analytic, quantitative, and problem solving skills.
¿ Proficient in Microsoft suite, including Lookup in excel.
¿ Proficient in computer applications used to manipulate large data sets to analyse, test, validate, and report, specifically in Dynamics AX.
¿ Strong relationship management skills; ability to collaborate with people at all levels throughout the organization.
¿ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
¿ Performs well in an environment with competing priorities and multiple projects.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10¿s and 100¿s. Ability to
perform these operations using units of American money, weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reading Skills:
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions. Must have ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
