POSITION SUMMARY

  • Performs quality control inspections before, during and after the manufacture of products
  • Inspects materials, parts and products at different stages of production
  • Records observations and makes recommendations for improving processes
  • Upholds a close working relationship with production management and fellow team members
  • Assist in incoming product inspections
  • Oversees final inspection
  • Upholds company policies and procedures

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)
  • Ability to work well both independently and in cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
  • Thrives in a fast-paced work environment
  • Adaptable to changing priorities
  • Detail orientated

 

BONUS SKILLS

  • Knowledge of spoken Spanish (not required)
  • Skilled at using measuring tools (i.e. tape measurers, calipers, micrometers, scales, etc…)
  • Works well with others

 

EDUCATION

  • High school diploma required
  • 1-year technical certificate or minimum 2-year degree in a technical related field preferred

 

Role: Contract

Title: Quality Tech II

Location: Indianapolis, IN 46268

Pay: $14+/hr based on experience

Start: 8/20/18

Shift: M-F 7:00am – 3:30pm

Duration: 6 months
