Inbound Customer Service Representative

Position: Customer Service Representatives (CSR)

Location: Ewing, NJ

Duration: 6 months + Contract (Very likely extensions)

Pay Rate: $17/hr.- $18 hr.

 

Position Summary

 

Purpose:

 

Respond to a high volume of Tier 1 customer inquiries via phone, using scripted responses. Provide empathy, guidance and first call resolution to customer inquiries.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, with parents, students, and institutions regarding registration and scoring processing.
  • Handle candidate interaction via telephone, chat, or email contact for a variety of service transactions or inquiries in a polite and professional manner.
  • Utilize Customer Relationship Management (OSC)
  • Quickly and creatively solve problems to ensure consistent, quality service to the candidate.
  • Demonstrate high quality customer service interactions via phones, chat and e-mail.
  • Provide complete and accurate information for all customer interactions.
  • Achieve individual performance metrics/goals including, but not limited to: attendance, adherence to schedule, adherence to working shift, quality, e-mail and telephone talk time, chat and meeting deadlines.

    Education, Certifications, or Special Licenses:


    A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is necessary


    Relevant Years of Experience Required:

     

  • One to two years of inbound call center experience working in a fast-paced call center environment is a plus
  • In lieu of call center experience, strong client facing, high volume retail experience handling complex client needs, issues and escalations, can be considered
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) proficiency is required
  • Candidates must be fluent with phone, e-mail, and chat correspondence
  • Must be able to multi-task and possess attention to detail.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive matter.
  • Thorough knowledge of business English and grammar
