Location: Erie, Pa 16531
Job Title: Indirect Sourcing Specialist
Contract Length: 12 months
Maximum hourly pay rate: Up to $25.00 to $29.00/hour







Role Summary:

Support the Indirect Sourcing strategy implementation as defined by the Commodity Managers to meet internal and external commitments.

Description:

Support daily fulfillment and tactical activities to achieve Indirect Sourcing’s business goals
Work on specific projects to improve cash flow with Indirect Sourcing suppliers
Submit Requests for Proposals RFPs, and Requests for Quotes RFQs for stakeholder requests
Drive continuous use of Preferred Indirect Suppliers
Manage operational relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
Place purchase orders within purchasing systems
Develop training material to communicate business policies to meet KPIs
Work on projects to achieve process simplification and quality optimization
Support supplier selection, qualification, development, and overall supplier management, including; Managing the entire contract life cycle from Request for Proposal to supplier exit
Support creation of supplier contracts and scorecards
Collaborate with Finance & Helpdesks to resolve AP issues

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (Or a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Sourcing, Finance, Manufacturing or Operations)
Excellent communication skills and analytical skills with the ability to manage and develop supplier/stakeholder relationships
Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook

Experience purchasing within a compliant supply chain
Proven analytical and organizational ability
Experience of working within a matrix organization
Basic commercial expertise such as cost analysis, market trend analysis and supporting
supplier negotiations
High motivation and influencing skills
