Industrial Assembly Finisher

Title: Finisher Assembler 

Job Description:
This is a full-time position for a Finisher Assembler. The Finisher Assembler assembles machines, equipment, and their sub-assemblies following prints and other written and verbal specifications by performing the following duties. No prior experience or training; High School or GED.  The Assembler Finisher must have the ability to read a limited number of two and three-syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and between a series of numbers.  Additionally, this position requires the ability to print and speak simple sentences, perform basic addition and subtraction and apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. The Assembler Filer must have the ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations, to operate hand tools & air powered tools and operate hoist.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
    Follows assembly procedures and specifications
    Removes small quantities of metal to clean parts or to produce close fit between parts
    Drills, taps, or reams holes
    Aligns components, and bolts, screws, or rivets them together
    Installs moving parts, such as shafts, levers, or bearings, and works them to test free movement
    Fuels and tests or assists in testing operation of completed product
    Safely operates hoist as needed
    Utilizes hydraulic press to assemble gearbox and press bearings into C4 ring
    Operates banding machine to secure boxes to pallet
    Performs other duties that may be assigned

    While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
    The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
    Employee may be exposed to various chemicals such as lactol fuel, cleaners, etc.
    Noise level in the environment is loud and hearing protection is required. 

We have opening shifts for Monday - Thursday from 5:00AM - 3:30PM 

Pay for this position is $13.00/hr. plus overtime as needed on Fridays.  This is a temp to hire opportunity.
