Insert Line Technician

Adecco Staffing is currently assisting a local client staffing for Line Techs. This individual is responsible for repairing machinery, minimizing downtime and training/coaching Line Operators in Inserting Dept.

Overview:

The Insert Line Technician/Operator Support (ILT) will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and is responsible for inserter repairs which facilitate continuity of inserter operation and minimizing downtime. The ILT is also responsible for training and coaching Insert Operators to achieve maximum effectiveness on throughputs without compromising quality.

Primary Functions:

  • Maintenance Repairs
  • Set-up & Throughputs of Flowmasters
  • Analyze & Minimize Downtime
  • Training and Coaching Insert Operators
  • Support of Inserting Dept. Lead
  • Monitoring Product Quality
  • Support of Maintenance Mechanic
  • Maintain Dept. Safety Standards & Cleanliness

Primary Requirements:

  • Ability to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
  • Ability to read work orders and implement them
  • Ability to lead and supervise others
  • Ability to operate a Flowmaster Inserter & MCS system (experience preferred but not required)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Excellent attitude in a stressful environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to read English proficiently
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Measurement of Performance:

Maintains uptime for maximum throughputs without compromising quality. Maintains training and motivation of line personnel.
