Adecco is sourcing for Inside Sales Support/Field Tech for a long-time client of ours who specializes in marine safety equipment. This client is looking for someone with proven stability and an eager mind, someone that shows outstanding initiative and who will last at the company and turn it into a career. This is a temp to hire position with the temporary phase lasting from 6-9 months. While you are an Adecco employee, you are paid on a weekly basis and are eligible for benefits after one week of employment. The client also has their own benefits package and perks after going perm!

Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Must be able to work overtime if required and have a flexible schedule.
Must be able to maintain continuous availability at all times due to the nature of the business & the company's dedication to safety policies/procedures; participates in the On-Call duty rotation as needed.

$16/hour, weekly pay via direct deposit or bank card.


This position will start of as Inside Sales Support then grow to include outside sales and technical hands on equipment servicing, so some hand tools knowledge or experience is required!

Job Responsibilities
Sales/Marine Sales:
Receives telephone, e-mail or fax requests from clients/customers pertaining to price quotes, purchase orders, etc.
Uses client operating system to retrieve customer info, update status info.
Prepare quotes per customer or agent specs, look up prices, prepare lists, contact distributors, etc.
Perform follow up quality customer service to all clients to insure products were shipped in a timely manner.
Support inside and outside sales reps to ensure order correctness.
Work closely with accounting department concerning credit status.
Participate in sales meeting and attends training seminars, (may have to travel outside of the city).
Bills customers and finalizes invoicing daily.
Front desk back up when needed.
Cross train co workers.

These responsibilities will grow to include the following:
Coordinate with various service team members in preparing job orders.
Locate vessels with pertinent info.
Assist captains/agents with problems or complaints.
Take Marine sales or service calls and file all appropriate paperwork.
Proofread reports.


3-5 years of solid office experience.
3-5 years of industrial sales experience.
High School diploma or GED.
Language and communications skills.
Mathematical Skills.
Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office applications.
Valid Driver's License
The ability to get a TWIC card in the future.

Other Requirements:
Ability to pass a thorough background check and MVR
Must be able to pass a drug screen.

Regularly required to sit, reach with hands and arms, use hands to handle and/or finger (i.e. keying/data entry). The employee is consistently required to talk and to hear in order to handle telephone sales and/or service calls.
Lifting, pushing or pulling 50 lbs. or more repeatedly.
Lifting or extending 50lbs or more above the head, sometimes repeatedly.
Lifting, bending and twisting at the waist simultaneously.
Driving on occasion for pick up and/or delivery of part and equipment.
