Instructional Designer

Adecco is assisting a local high end retailer with their need to hire a consultant for a long term open ended assignment beginning in January 2019. Our client located in midtown NYC is seeking a designer to work 3-4 days a week and would have strong layout skills, a passion for the fashion industry and skills with Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.



-Use Adobe CC to produce training tools to be sent to the entire team that highlight the latest  shoes and the trends they follow

-Use Adobe CC to create "spotlight issues" that feature interviews and outstanding examples of customer service from specific locations

-Develop and create handouts for the Training and Development team's presentations

-Redesign articles and information used in meetings and onboarding sessions to capture attention and make them more visually interesting

-Use PowerPoint to redesign presentations in order to make them more beneficial to new hires

-assist in preparation for seasonal photo shoots

-General upkeep of learning management system(uploading training tools to a blog like platform, archiving tools, keeping the platform organized and on brand)

3-4 days a week


-BA in graphic design, web design or some focus on design

- extremely detail oriented and organized

- passion for fashion and the industry

-strong layout skills

-ability to learn quickly

-flexibility when working on diverse projects

-video editing skills a plus

-InDesign, Photoshop and illustrator a must

- communication and writing skills
