Instructional Designer - Senior

Our premier Communications Client is seeking an Instructional Designer in Charlotte NC 28217.

This is a W2 six-month contract at hourly pay rate of $47 per hour starting September. This is an onsite position Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.

Summary

This hands-on position is responsible for the design, development and implementation of training solutions created for our communications customer facing and non-facing employees including but not limited to supervisors and field partners.

This position requires the Instructional Designer to work closely with their Learning, Development (L&D) partners, Product Management teams, vendors and other business stakeholders to develop enterprise-wide training courses that address goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:


Design, develop and implement quality training solutions that are on-target, on-budget and on-time, working within a predefined process
Conduct in-depth root cause analysis for identified learning requests
Prepare project reports and communicate progress to department to stakeholders and subject matter experts
Establish and maintain high performing relationships with members of Learning Development & Inclusion, Regional teams and senior TWC business leaders to ensure learning solutions meet identified needs
Assist in selection of training vendors when needed; including content quality, timelines and budget
Maintain and grow knowledge of the training industry including new methodologies for behavior transfer including blended approaches using eLearning, videos, gamification, online performance support, and other emerging learning methodologies
Maintain a deep knowledge of existing and new curriculum; this may include facilitating courses to gain knowledge
Implement L&D Learning Strategies
Mentor new and tenured instructional designers to quality, productivity and process standards
Assist with intake of learning requests and resource allocation
Develop and lead execution of detailed project plans including resources and timelines and manage to the deadlines set
Apply various levels and modalities to evaluate training outcomes and implement improvements to training based on results


Essential Minimum Requirements:


Bachelor’s or University degree
Project management including project planning, execution and measurement
Solid experience designing and developing learning materials
Attention to detail while managing multiple projects
