We are seeking an Intake Nurse- LPN to join our team in the Aurora, CO area! You will be responsible for determining donor eligibility, assessment, physical examination, and recording/reviewing donor test results.
Responsibilities:
Take and record donor pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and administer finger stick, and first aid as needed.
Entering donor information into donor information system, as well as investigating post donation information.
Managing, evaluating, and reporting donor reaction(s).
Communicate with collaborating supervisors and specialist’s regarding donor care.
Maintaining accurate donor medical records.
Provides support and education to donors around their medical needs.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields.
Familiarity with medical software and equipment.
Ability to build rapport with patients.
Strong attention to detail, and the ability to operate as a team player.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Must have unencumbered CO license, and BLS certification.
The starting rate for this position is $28-30/hr Employee may be eligible for Short Term and/or Long Term incentive benefits. Employees may also be eligible to participate in Medical, Dental.
