Integrated Communications Manager
Location: San Francisco, Scottsdale, Houston, or remote
Pay: 70/hr
Hours: In general, the first two months will be the busiest (~30-35 hours per week) - The subsequent six to nine months will be a little slower (~15-20 hours per week)
Length: 11+ months


Merger & Acquisition (M&A) Communications Manager (Contractor)
McKesson Specialty Health is hiring a contract M&A Communications Manager to provide support during the announcement, close, and integration of M&A transactions.

Primary responsibilities will include working directly with the Marketing Communications and Integration Management Teams to help execute the communications strategy for individual transactions and achieve business objectives:
1. Deal Announcement
• Includes developing key messages and positioning for the transaction, writing deal announcement communications (e.g., press release, letter from the president, FAQs) and managing the review and approval process
2. Deal Close and Day 1 Communications
• Includes writing the closing and Day 1 communications (e.g., press release, welcome letter), as well as developing other forms of content (e.g., PPT deck for Day 1 Town Hall meeting)
3. Ongoing Deal Integration and Change Management Communications
• Includes participating on the integration management office for the newly acquired company, providing communications advice to executives and other key stakeholders, overseeing regular communications about integration process, and managing employee-facing campaigns to support change management

Desired Skills
1. Previous communications management experience required
2. Ability to manage review process with multiple executive-level stakeholders
3. Strong writing capability and PowerPoint skills
4. Skilled project manager
5. Comfortable working under tight deadlines with high visibility
Previous healthcare, M&A, and/or change management experience a plus

Hours:
• Hours will vary depending on the size and scope of the M&A transaction
o In general, the first two months will be the busiest (~30-35 hours per week)
o The subsequent six to nine months will be a little slower (~15-20 hours per week)
• Compensation depends on experience
• Location: San Francisco, Scottsdale, Houston or remote
