Adecco is assisting our fast-growing client in their search to fill an International Logistics and Customer Service opening located in Stamford, CT.  This is a Direct Hire position – salary up to 80k – PLUS great benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision and more…

 

Terrific opportunity to make a big difference with a company that’s growing fast!   This position requires knowledge of international logistics documentation and a great customer service personality.


Responsibilities for International Logistics and Customer Service position include but are not limited to:

  • Assist customers through order process, and internally manage through the supply chain
  • Request ocean and air bookings with freight forwarders on best available freight rates and/or transit time
  • Prepare all commercial documentation required for import process – Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Insurance Certificate, Country of Origin/Free Trade Declaration, Quarantine Declarations, any country specific documents
  •  

     

    To be considered for the International Logistics and Customer Service position:

  • 5+ years logistics exp, at least 3 should be in international logistics
  • Excellent customer service with at least 5 yrs relevant experience
  • Working knowledge of international trade
  • Proficient in MS Office, accounting and/or ERP software
  • Great time management skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
