DESCRIPTION

Summary
Compiles records concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, and equipment by performing the following duties.

Duties
Compiles data from sources such as contracts, purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and accounting reports and encodes information into the database to maintain inventory, purchasing, shipping, or other records. 

Responsibilities:

  • Count or estimate quantities of merchandise, materials, parts, or products received
  • Document quantity, quality, type, and value of materials or products to maintain receiving records and files.
  • Compare product labels, tags, or tickets, shipping manifests, purchase orders, and bills of lading to verify accuracy of shipment contents, quality specifications.
  • Communicate with pertinent team members to exchange information regarding received products, materials, and inbound shipment.
  • Unload, unpack and check incoming shipment
  • Tracks the transportation and distribution of inventory.
  • Oversees the records of all stocks and compiles evaluation reports.
  • Does daily auditing of inventory.
  • Supervision of the inventory cycle counting.
  • Accounting and reporting of inventory surplus, product returns, and damages..
  • Re-stocking and filing order forms.
  • Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes purchasing orders as required; tracks orders and investigates problems.
  • Records purchases, maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
  • May periodically take physical count of stock or check and mark merchandise.
  • Compile and maintain records of the quantity, type, and value of the supplies/merchandise of the company.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to operate standard warehouse and office equipment, materials and tools
  • 1+ years of inventory-related experience.
  • Ability to lift, carry and move 50 pounds.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Admirable customer service skills.
  • Strict attention to details.
  • Must have impressive attendance profile.
  • Must be available to work long hours if necessary.
