Inventory Analyst

Adecco is currently recruiting for an Inventory Analyst.  

The Inventory Analyst reports within the Materials Management Department. The Inventory Analyst is responsible for collaborating with cross functional teams including business planning, master scheduling, production line managers, warehouse supervisor, material planners, procurement, sourcing, finance, the plant manager, and others to effectively manage site inventory and inventory reporting. The role is focused on maximizing inventory investment returns, improving planning efficiency through improved analytical toolsets and reports, and driving margin improvement through lean initiatives.



Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or Statistics preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years related supply chain planning and/or inventory management experience
  • APICS-CPIM Certification desired
  • Supply chain planning, exposure to multiple sites/practices and project management experience desirable
  • Demonstrated skills with ERP systems such as SAP (APO, SNP, ECC) experience is desirable. Syteline MRP experience highly desired
  • Strong and practical leader with proven track record of achievement in implementing change
  • Excellent analytical skills, including strategic thinking, ability to frame problems and opportunities using supporting data, problem solving and measuring impact
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, ability to lead change and influence without direct authority
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills with the ability to share at all levels of the organization
  • Must be highly capable in Microsoft Office programs; specifically, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
  • Report writing based from data warehouse system preferred
  • Use of BI tools such as Power Query, Power BI, Tableau, SAS, etc. is highly desired

Specialized Knowledge, Equipment, and Applications:

  • Understanding of financial principles
  • Individual must be self-guided, process driven and extremely good at working in a team environment.
  • Must possess the ability to understand the effect of certain actions throughout the production process (vendors, manufacturing, office etc.) while implementing the solutions, and how those actions are related.

Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates):

Additional Training:

  • APICS-CPIM Certification desired

Work Environment- Job will consist of 90% duties in an office environment with the remainder on the production floor working with materials or operations teams or supplier. Some travel to suppliers may be required, both domestic and internationally.

Responsibilities- Daily interaction with supply chain, shop floor management and team members to drive projects focused on inventory optimization. Interact daily with other business functions including master scheduling / planning, purchasing, sourcing, design, cost accounting, and IT.
