Title: Inventory Analyst

Start Date: May 6th, 2019

Duration: 3 months

Location: Woonsocket, RI 02895

Pay rate: $22/hr – depending on candidate experience





This role will focus on all facets of pharmaceutical inventory returns and support for our Rx Returns Team as we strive to meet our business objectives of decreasing pharmaceutical waste & returns.

This position may be a good fit for you if:
You enjoy collecting and reviewing data; use SQL to pull data and with minimal instruction find areas of opportunity to decrease the frequency of pharmaceutical products expiring on our shelves.
Have intermediate Excel skills and are highly analytical.
Understanding inventory movement comes naturally to you.
Like working in an agile environment with fast changing priorities.
You are a natural problem solver who likes to work in a team environment.
Take pride in presenting your work and look forward to conveying analysis findings to leadership.




• Identify data necessary to answer question posed.
• Work alongside Analyst to pull the necessary data to be reviewed.
• Take compiled data, review, and articulate findings.
• Use findings to suggest actions which will reduce returns.
• Convey strong argument for how, why, and when actions will reduce returns.





• Bachelor’s Degree required; Major in Supply Chain Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics or related field (or related experience) a plus

• Minimum of two years in analytical based work.
• Demonstrated ability and flexibility to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective analytical skills using various tools including Excel.
• Vlookup, IF, aggregate functions, Pivot Tables.
• Consistent history of using data to inform business strategy.
• SQL coding experience.
