Inventory Clerk

Adecco has an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Clerk, Material Handler. Temp to hire possibility. Pay  range from $14-18/hr.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities for the Inventory Clerk, material handler:
To assist with maintaining control and trace-ability of materials, this person is responsible for assuring that accurate recordings are made on a Materials Usage Log form for all operations taking place within his/her department throughout the day. Additionally this person is to
consistently assist the Production effort by anticipating the needs of the various jobs in operation and delivering materials to job locations “on time” and removing goods as pallet loads are completed.

Duties and Responsibilities: 
1. Perform daily tasks in a neat, organized, safe, and accurate fashion.
2. Makes accurate recordings of materials usage on Form #122 as usage occurs throughout
the day.
3. Reviews all departmental Materials Usage Logs at the end of each day; assuring accuracy
and clarity, and then submits the forms to the Production Supervisor.
4. Assists with departmental job set-up and tear down activities.
5. Responsible for timely movement of raw materials, components, and finished goods as
required for specific jobs.
6. Throughout each day: helps to load rolls of material onto equipment as needed, erects
cartons, takes and records tally information on form #116 Daily Tally Record, helps
palletize finished product and meet daily quotas.
7. Performs materials handling duties:
- utilizing 2-wheeled carts, pallet jacks, powered pallet jack, lift truck, and other handling
equipment that s/he becomes certified to use.
-moves required materials to and from production floor in accordance with established
-assures that scrap, corrugation, etc. is processed safely and on a regular basis.
8. Cross-trains with and works closely with the Shipping/Receiving Coordinator, and may
be asked to fill in-for that individual in the event of an absence in that position.
9. Constantly takes action to assure that the department is clean, safe, organized, and
operated in accordance with our Standard Operating Procedures.
10. Maintains neat and organized staging areas in the plant and works closely with warehouse
personnel helping to assure that left-over materials are labeled appropriately and returned
to designated storage locations in timely fashion.
11. Performs production work as directed.
12. May be requested to perform additional duties.
