INVENTORY CLERK. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:Summary The Supply Analyst is responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of the Global Supply Chain Planning team. The primary responsibility includes entering orders, preparing and updating reports and summaries used in the routine planning processes as well as providing backfill support to cover open positions. This role will work closely with the Supply and Demand Planners SUPERVISION RECEIVED Under direct supervision of Manager, Global Supply Chain Planning SUPERVISION EXERCISED N/A ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Supply Planner is responsible for activities to support supply planning, inventory planning, and management of finished goods and service/repair items. This position coordinates with other Supply Planners, Demand Planners, site Materials Management and other groups to provide data, reports and metrics as well as analysis and backup for planners as required. Performs routine system transactions as required. Perform data collection and compilation to generate and update regular reports used in the planning process Provides KPI reporting on supply, inventory, and supply chain costs that include customer service, plan attainment, inventory. Provides support to the supply planners Performs other related duties as assigned DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: High School Graduate APICS certification a plus CPIM Preferred Experience and Skill Sets Minimum 3 year experience. Prefer experience with ERP systems and planning software - Oracle ASCP a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  Proficient to advanced Microsoft Excel skills TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED General office equipment: computers, printers, copiers, fax machines PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical requirements listed in this section include, but are not limited, to the motor/physical abilities and skills require of this position in order to successfully undertake the essential duties and responsibilities of this position.
