Inventory Control Assistant

Adecco is looking for an Inventory Control Assistant for a client in South Orlando.  The right candidate will possess the knowledge of MRP planning and logistics, basic material purchasing practices, exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.  This position will provide support to the Materials Department through monitoring customer interface systems, cycle count activities and vendor interfaces. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor all material shortages/increases and react to the messages through customer interface systems 
  • Maintain supplier Purchase Order dates. Assist Materials department in contacting and expediting with suppliers concerning part shortages and forecasts 
  • Assist buyers obtaining Purchase Order Acknowledgements
  • Serve as Material representative in material review board meetings and assist buyers in material returns
  • Coordinate logistics as needed
  • Perform Syteline master data maintenance
  • Provide ability to perform short term capacity analysis and interact with other departments to determine needed capacity
  • Perform workflow analysis
  • Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion
Other Requirements:
Exceptional knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong analytical skills
