Inventory Planner

Responsibilities, Qualifications, & Details:                 

 

Job Duties:

  • Assist Inventory Manager with tracking of equipment and hardware assets for data collection projects
  • Work with existing process for allocating asset inventory while looking for process improvement
  • Be a point of contact to ship, pack, unpack, and receive hardware assets from/to US and international locations
  • Be responsible for scrapping hardware assets using the established process
  • Collaborate with points of contact in other offices for maintaining inventory

 

 

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor degree required in a relevant field or equivalent
  • Prior experience with asset inventory management tools and software
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook and Excel as well as Wikis
  • High level of professionalism integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information
  • Ability to work independently and be resourceful, while exercising sound judgment on when to include the broader team
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment with tight deadlines
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organization skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and superb customer focus
  • Self-motivated to learn new skills and technologies
  • A good sense of humor, a positive attitude and great teamwork skills are a must
  • Ability to work in the field locations and travel between field locations when required
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs

 

 

Pay Rate:  $17.00hr - $19.00hr DOE

Shift Start/End Time:  first shift/general business hours

Length of Assignment:  3 months with possibility of extension/conversion
