Adecco Direct Placement Team is currently recruiting for a qualified, detail-oriented Inventory Specialist for a nationally known company in their Odessa, TX or Senora, TX locations. This is an IMMEDIATE direct hire job opportunity with a competitive hourly wage and a very generous benefits package.

Responsibilities for the Inventory Specialist job include:

Input inventory transfers to and from warehouse; input work orders for controllers, parts and assemblies
Maintain organization and accuracy within the warehouse
Input daily adjustments in order to maintain an accurate inventory count for all warehouses
Assist warehouses with any inventory issues and discrepancies
Create and maintain part numbers for different inventory, create pricing, routers and bill of materials
Assist with physical inventory on a large scale
Review and resolve any invoicing or ticket discrepancies
Input and maintain proper data with the internal inventory tracking system
Process and order new inventory, equipment and supplies through company approved vendors
Keep track of vendor pricing and services to determine most desirable suppliers

Candidates must possess specific experience which includes:

3+ years of inventory management or purchasing experience required
Experience managing inventory for multiple locations required
Proficiency in Oracle and Microsoft Office products
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as pricing, discounts, averages and interest
Ability to work with multiple people, personalities and backgrounds
High attention to detail and high data entry skills
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and possess strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment and possess strong time management skills
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean MVR record
Must be 21 years of age in order to drive company vehicle
Ability to run a fork lift and/or become forklift certified
Must be able to travel occasionally overnight
Must be able to pass a background and drug screen
