Adecco staffing is looking to source an IT Technician for a growing company in the Tempe/Mesa border area.  This individual must be a true go-getter with the aptitude to attack problems on their own.  Must have familiarity with:

 

Network operations

VPN tunnel set up

CradlePoint/Router set up

Device monitoring system experience

IP address set up

 

Compensation: Pay is up to $20 an hour.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Provide technical software, hardware and network problem resolution to all computer users by performing question/problem diagnosis and guiding users through step-by-step solutions
Clearly communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly and professional manner; both written and verbal
Perform issue identification tasks critical to find system errors
Provide excellent customer service to all internal customers including but not limited to electrical wiring questions, configuration adjustments, camera operation, etc.
Optimize site operations by making needed site related configuration adjustments to components and devices remotely
Create and review reports on system components and performance related details
o Complete all daily monitoring and issue identification tasks
o Install and verify changes made to system firmware, software and components of each site
o Identify hardware failure through remote troubleshooting
o Align acceptable camera FOV and focus to processing specifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
2+ years experience with Windows operating system
Understand basic network connectivity and routing (IP address, Subnet, VPN)
Understanding of basic electronic principles
Understand connections and communication wiring including CAT5/6, coax and serial
Must be a self-starter able to work independently as well as part of the ATS team
Quality driven with a strong attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet all assigned deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
Must be familiar with the Microsoft Suite of office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer)
Must have functional knowledge of network structure, VPN environments, Windows server environments including remote desktop
Needs to be able to identify failure points and assist onsite technicians from a remote location
