Contract: Will last 3-6 months



$85.00-$100.00 Hourly DOE.

Relocation is NOT provided and cannot provide Sponsorship at this time


Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in CIS, MIS or Project Management.
  • 3-10 years' of experience in project management on small – medium sized projects with an emphasis on business applications.


Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:

  • PMI Certification

This Project Manager will define job activities and requirements for project planning. Will include: Scheduling, monitoring, reporting, and implementing project and project related activities. This role facilitates and executes internally defined processes in IT projects, product management, budget alignment, service level management and IT Services Management.


Provide leadership, organization and coordination to support Project Manager Office’s key activities, encompassing program planning, governance and project management.


Ensure all projects administered by the Project Manager Office adhere to the best practices and standard approaches for program management.


Manage change and promote the continuous improvement of project management related processes.


Guide project stakeholders in defining project scope, charter and other project deliverables.


Maintain processes to ensure project management documentation, reports and plans are relevant, accurate and complete.


Track and report on project portfolio performance, providing a real-time, comprehensive, and prioritized view of all projects.


Maintain and update the project management framework and disciplines necessary to support a Project Manager Office.


Develop positive relationships with managers and staff to enable the Project Manager Office to provide support including facilitation, tracking and reporting on projects.


Share lessons learned and best practices across programs, building relationships with stakeholders and brokering relationships at all levels.


Collaborate with a cross functional teams to drive adherence and adoption for global delivery methods for consistent delivery to meet or exceed project targets and quality targets.


Supervise and prioritize daily tasks and performance of assigned staff.


Define, oversee, prioritize and report staff activities and relevant metrics.


Provides guidance to staff in the areas of technical direction, future planning and standard practices.


Multi-task under pressure.


Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills at all organizational levels.

Other Skills and Abilities:   

  • Knowledge of Project Management principals, concepts and practices.
  • Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle Models (Waterfall and Agile).
  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects.
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements.
  • Develop and maintain full scale project plan.
  • Assemble and coordinate project staff.
  • Create, manage and report on project budgets.
  • Supervise functional and technical project resources.
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders.
  • Oversee the development of business requirements and processes in support of all implementations.
  • Identify and resolve project issues in furtherance of the project execution process.
