IT Support Specialist
Direct Hire / $50K - $70K Base

We have an immediate opening for an experienced IT Support Professional in Providence, RI. Our client, with locations across the globe, is expanding into the US market and is searching for an accomplished Technology Specialist for their new location.

This person will be responsible for ensuring a smooth delivery of information systems across a global network of multi-channel contact centers. A successful candidate will have experience working in a modern Contact (Call) Center environment, excellent system troubleshooting skills, a service-oriented mindset, the ability to communicate effectively and is highly independent.

As part of the Customer Experience Group technical team, this role occasionally involves carrying out maintenance tasks outside core hours to ensure business continuity, as well as occasional travels to other Contact Centers sites across the globe. Role & Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to agents, either in person or remotely
Monitor core routing systems, propose improvements (within or without existing platform) interface with vendors & internal partners for system support and functional development
Manage business continuity plans for the Contact Center team (planning, provisioning and testing)
Manage operational questions and issues with key vendors/internal partners (equipment break/fix, voice quality problems, interaction flows routing, etc.)
Development and support of internal and external tools


At least 1 year of relevant experience
Strong knowledge of practical IT troubleshooting and optimization (Windows and/or Linux systems)
Experience supporting typical office applications (Sharepoint, desktop suites, websites, etc)
Experience in Contact Center / Call Center environment a must
Knowledge of Avaya, Cisco or similar required
