IT Support Specialist needed for an educational institution.  The position will triage incoming requests via telephone, email and a ticketing system.  Solve problems, perform scheduled and on-demand maintenance, and interface with higher-level technicians.

  • Strong analyzing/problem-solving skills. 
  • Experience supporting Microsoft and Apple operating systems (Windows, Mac OSX.) support experience. 
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to interpret and convey information, ideas and instructions clearly and accurately to a wide range of audiences.
  • The ability to effectively listen, interpret and respond to user feedback.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as work effectively in a strong team environment. 

The work schedule for this position will typically be Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with an hour for lunch.
