Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for a current entry Support Technician position in South San Jose, CA.  This is a temp-hire opportunity.  Working as a Support Technician you will provide technical support to end-users for PC, server, hardware, or software applications. Responsibilities for the Support Technician includes:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
– Installs & repairs hardware.
– Loads & verifies software packages.
– Supports any resource on projects as assigned.
– Troubleshoots & resolves end-user issues.
– Installs & configures PC/Peripherals.
– Performs basic level of support for users on IT baseline apps.
– Provides Training & technical assistance.
– Follows all procedures around the ISS security policy.
– Escalates & resolves ticket to SLA.
– Has Responsibility for monitoring the Service Desk system.
– Provides End user training & technical assistance.
Education & Experience Requirements
– A+ certification or equivalent.
– 1-year experience in PC building, rebuilding & maintenance.
– Good communication, service orientated attitude, customer focus, sense of urgency, professional demeanor, time managements skills, analytical thinker.
– All Jabil baseline Microsoft apps/utilities.
– Provide on call support.

  • Successful applicants will have to fulfill all prerequisites for contracts. This position requires U.S. citizenship
  • Open communication with the production teams
  • Be able to pass English ESD and Safety quiz during orientation

Pay for this position is dependent on experience plus overtime is required as needed. This is a temp to hire opportunity.
